Design Details

• The jewellery compartments are lined with rich purple cotton velvet

• The lid is lined with Liberty’s silk in the Ianthe design - a timeless Art Nouveau motif featuring pinks, cream, red and turquoise. Originally created as a wallpaper border by French artist Beauclair in the early 1900s, Ianthe was adapted for Liberty by the Haward Studio in 1967 and became part of their Tana Classics in 1986.

  This iconic pattern adds a layer of heritage to the box’s design. This variation in the design commemorates 150 years of Liberty of London - it has been used on the store’s bags for the anniversary year.
