A wonderful heavy 21” vintage double Albert style curb chain crafted in 9ct gold with double dog clip clasps and a detachable T bar. This beautiful and substantial chain is an everyday classic. It is an unusually long example of this type of chain. The chain can be worn ‘Albert’ style with the T bar at the front or the T bar can be removed and a pendant or charms can be worn hanging from one of the dog clips.

The chain dates from the end of the 20th century. It measures approximately 21” inches/53cm long and weighs 40.1g. The chain is crafted in 9ct yellow gold. It is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold on every link.

The links are quite substantial and are graduated in size with the largest links in the middle of each half of the chain. The largest links measure approximately 9mm X 7mm X 2mm, the smallest link are next to the dog clips and measure approximately 6mm X 4mm X 1.3mm.

The T bar measures 34mm across and is also stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold. It hangs from a dangle of two gold rings.

The dog clips are stamped with ‘9K’ for 9ct gold. They both measure approximately 22mm from end to end.
