A wonderful small domed antique ring box crafted in royal blue cotton velvet with the box’s original faded blue silk lid. This box is small and would make an excellent travel box for approximately nine rings.

The box has a wonderful domed lid and its original ornate flip over clasp. The exterior of the box is covered with black faux leather with a gold frame on the top of the lid. The lid sits up slightly when the box is open. The box dates from the early part of the 20th century.

The external measurements of the box at its widest points are approximately 8.5cm X 8cm X 6cm tall. This is an antique box that has been repurposed box as a jewellery box.

Please look at the photographs as they form part of the description. This is an old box and as such shows some signs of wear and tear. The silk on the inside of the lid is particularly faded but this just adds to the charm of this lovely box.
