A 26” fine spiga chain with ball detail crafted in 9ct gold. This is a pretty chain - the perfect addition to a neck stack, adding variety and texture with its fancy links. The chain dates from the early part of the 20th century.

The chain has a spiga link that has four ball stations along its length. The ball sections measure 13mm across and the balls themselves have a diameter of 5mm. The chain is 1mm wide.

The chain measures approximately 26”/66cm long and weighs 3.4g. The chain is crafted in 9ct yellow gold, the gold balls themselves are slightly rosey in colour. The chain is not hallmarked but has tested as 9ct gold. The chain has a bolt ring clasp that measures approximately 8mm across.

This is an antique chain and as such shows some signs of wear as one would expect with a chain of its age. The photographs form part of the description.
