A beautiful Victorian circular back and front locket. This is a pretty, tactile piece that would be a wonderful addition to a neck stack or look lovely worn on its own.

This is a back and front locket which means that the back and front of the locket are thickly plated with 9ct gold and the inner workings are made from base metal.

The locket has a pretty chased folate design to the front with a blank cartouche, and a similar design to the back without the cartouche. The locket has a particularly lovey ornate top and bail. It has the words ‘Front & Back’ stamped on the back. The acetate inside the locket is intact. The locket closes with a satisfactory ‘click’.

The locket measures 22mm across the circle and weighs 3.4g.

The locket is in wonderful condition. There are a few minor bumps and scratches as one would expect from a piece of its age.
