A beautiful elegant fob with an elongated design and with an oval, bloodstone set base, crafted in 9ct gold. Originally worn as a gentleman’s fob on a double Albert chain, this piece now offers versatile styling as a pendant. It is a charming example of Victorian design and can be worn as a pendant, either solo or layered in a neck stack. It is particularly lovely worn on a long chain.

• Material: 9ct yellow gold, hallmarked for Birmingham, 1909; with the maker’s mark of ’C G & S’ A detachable 9ct gold split ring has been added so the fob can easily be slid onto a chain. Photographs show the fob with and without the split ring

• Design Features: Elegant elongated open design with an oval, bloodstone set in a rimmed pedestal base

• Dimensions: Approx. 30mm top to bottom, and 20mm 17mm across the oval of the bloodstone

• Weight: The fob weighs 5.4g; 5.7g with the split ring
