A truly captivating antique jewellery box from the Art Deco period, thoughtfully refurbished to combine antique charm with modern functionality. Lined with luxurious turquoise velvet and iconic Liberty of London Tana Lawn, this double-layered box is a stylish and practical treasure chest for your jewellery collection.

Interior Features

• Two-tier storage system with a removable top tray that sits in the middle of the box.

• Top tray: Cushions for rings or earrings plus ywo compartments for other jewellery

• Lower level: Eleven compartments for additional pieces

• Lining: Rich dark turquoise cotton velvet

The cushioned section accommodates at least 21 rings or pairs of earrings, possibly more depending on size and arrangement. Please refer to the photographs for layout and scale.

The lid is lined with Liberty’s Tana Lawn cotton in the Ianthe design - a timeless Art Nouveau motif featuring navy blue, cream, turquoise, violet and burgundy.

Originally created as a wallpaper border by French artist Beauclair in the early 1900s, Ianthe was adapted for Liberty by the Haward Studio in 1967 and became part of their Tana Classics in 1986.

This iconic pattern adds a layer of heritage to the box’s design.

Exterior Details

• Covered in black textured faux leather with a gold frame around the lid and tooled fleur-de-lys on each of the four corners

• Secured with brass flip-over clasps

• Lid lies flat when open for easy access and display
