A large celestial diamond locket crafted in rich 9ct rose gold. This antique piece dates from the beginning of the 20th century and features a chased crescent design running around the top edge of the locket, with a diamond set constellation below. This is a truly lovely piece. It is a substantial locket - it is perfect worn solo or layered into a neck-stack.

Diamonds: The constellation/star design is set with eighteen old cut diamonds and chips of varying quality. The locket has an estimated diamond weight of 0.75 carats; the central diamond alone is approximately 0.1 carats in weight.
Interior: The inside of the locket is empty and ready to be personalised with photographs or keepsakes. There are no rims or glass present
Condition: Shows gentle signs of age and wear, consistent with its antique nature. There is a small ding to the front of the locket near the hinge. This is not obvious and does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece
