A delightful antique double layer jewellery box, beautifully repurposed and wrapped in rich dusky blue velvet with a Liberty of London lid. Compact and elegant, this charming piece is ideal to store and display a jewellery collection.

Design Details

• Double layer with a removable tray

• Three central compartments for chains or pendants

• Cushioned sections down either side the to hold at least 28 rings, possibly more depending on size and arrangement

• Five compartments on the lower layer, perfect for chains

• The lid is lined with Liberty’s Tana Lawn cotton in the Ianthe design - a timeless Art Nouveau motif rendered in turquoise, blues and burgundy.

  Originally created as a wallpaper border by French artist Beauclair in the early 1900s, Ianthe was adapted for Liberty by the Haward Studio in 1967 and became part of their Tana Classics in 1986

• Exterior: Black leather-effect paper with a striped white and gold frame around the inside edge

• Closure: Hinged lid with flip-over clasps at the front

• Repurposed Antique: Originally crafted for another use, now transformed into a jewellery box with care and style
