Design Details

The lid is lined with Liberty’s Tana Lawn cotton in the Ianthe design - a timeless Art Nouveau motif featuring purple, blue, red, cream and green.
Originally created as a wallpaper border by French artist Beauclair in the early 1900s, Ianthe was adapted for Liberty by the Haward Studio in 1967 and became part of their Tana Classics in 1986.
This iconic pattern adds a layer of heritage to the box’s design.
Exterior: Dark brown leather-effect paper with a gold frame around the lid
Closure: Hinged lid with brass flip-over clasp at the front
Repurposed Antique: Originally crafted for another use, now transformed into a jewellery box with care and style
