A delightful small brown leather antique jewellery box, beautifully repurposed and wrapped in cream velvet. This charming piece is ideal for the storage and display of treasured jewellery. It is a particularly good travel box for a few pieces.

Interior Features

• Two compartments for chains & pendants

• A central cushioned section for rings and earrings that will hold approximately eight rings, depending on size and arrangement. (This box will not take particularly tall rings in the cushions due to the height of the box. Larger rings could be held in one of the compartments if desired.)

The inside of the lid is lined with Liberty of London tana lawn cotton in their iconic Strawberry Thief pattern, rendered in pale blue and brown. Originally designed by William Morris in 1883, Strawberry Thief is one of Liberty’s most beloved prints, inspired by the mischievous birds that stole fruit from his kitchen garden.
