A wonderful antique jewellery box crafted in purple cotton velvet with the box’s original cream silk lid. This box is small, with four compartments. It would make an excellent travel box for a few pieces of jewellery.

The exterior of the box is covered with black faux leather with a gold frame on the top of the lid. The box has original ornate flip over clasp. The lid sits flat when the box is open. The box dates from the early part of the 20th century.

The external measurements of the box at its widest points are approximately 12.5cm X8.75cm X 3cm tall. This is an antique box that has been repurposed box as a jewellery box.
