A lovely Victorian seed pearl pendant crafted in 9ct gold. This beautiful pendant has a double circle of claw set pearls. 

This pendant was previously a brooch. The brooch has had its pin soldered in place to form a bar across the back of the piece. The bar can be used to thread the piece onto a chain so that it hangs as a pendant. As a pendant this piece does not sit perfectly straight - the bar across the back means it moves freely along the chain, often sitting on the neck at an angle. This foible is reflected in the price. It could also be worn as a choker or bracelet threaded onto a piece of ribbon. Please see the photographs. The bar could be removed and a bail could be added if desired and the price will increase accordingly.

All the pearls are present and appear to be original to the piece. They are set in gold.

The pendant measures 22mm X 20mm and weighs 2.4g. It is not hallmarked as is common with pieces of this era. It has been XRF tested as 9ct gold.
