A wonderful Victorian locket crafted in gold decorated with seed pearls. This beautiful gold piece has pearl flower at its centre with a pearl halo and pearl set bail. It has a hinged, glass set back perfect for the addition of a photograph or a memento of your choice. This is a really lovely locket from the Victorian era.

All the pearls are present and appear to be original to the brooch. The pearls are set in gold.

The back is in good condition with some minor scratches as one would expect for a piece of its age. The glass appears to be original to the piece.

The locket measures 28mm across and has a drop of 36mm, including bail. It weighs 6.2g. The locket has been XRF tested. The front has tested as 12ct gold, while the fittings at the back of the locket are in 9ct gold.
