A fabulous large Victorian diamond star brooch & pendant in silver and gold. This is a really wonderful antique piece. It is a particularly well proportioned and sparkly star.

The star’s rose cut diamonds have a magical quality. Rose cuts are designed to glitter by candlelight and have an ethereal quality perfect for a star. As was customary, the front is crafted in silver to best showcase the diamonds, and the back and pin are made from 9ct gold. The star has its original removable pin and a hook so it can be worn as brooch or pendant. It was possibly once part of a tiara.
