A magical vintage sputnik pendant crafted in 9ct gold set with cabochon gemstones. This is an excellent example of this type of pendant with wonderful selection of vibrant gemstones set closely over the face of the orb.

This piece dates from the middle of the 20th Century. Its design commemorates the advancement in the Space Age and atomic design in this period, it mimics the antenna of the 1957 Sputnik 1 satellite.
