A truly fabulous 58.5” fancy link long guard chain crafted in 9ct gold with a dog clip clasp. This is a wonderful and substantial chain weighing an impressi e 72.3g. It has an excellent Art Deco triple circle link that is reminiscent of mariner chain. This is a superb statement piece that can be worn long or doubled up, perhaps with a pendant attached to the dog clip. The chain looks lovely worn on its own or as part of a neck stack. It could also be wrapped multiple times around the wrist and worn as a bracelet.

The chain measures approximately 58.5 inches/148.5m long and weighs 72.3g. It is crafted in 9ct warm antique yellow gold. The chain is stamped ‘9C’ both on a disc on one of the links closest to the dog clip and on the dog clip itself. The chain dates from the early part of the 20th century.

The links are hollow and measure approximately 6mm x 5.5mm x 4mm.

The dog clip is a wonderful antique example with squared off edges. It appears to be original to the chain. The dog clip is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold and measures approximately 23mm across.

This is an antique chain and as such shows some signs of wear as one would expect with a chain of its age. Please see the photographs as they form part of the description.
