A fabulous 60” Victorian fetter and curb link chain crafted in 15ct gold. This is wonderful chain with a substantial feel, that can be wrapped multiple times around the neck or wrist. It looks lovely worn on its own or as part of a neck stack, adding interest and texture with its wonderful links This chain would be an excellent addition to a chain wardrobe.

The chain dates from the beginning of the twentieth century. It measures approximately 60 inches/151.5cm long and weighs 37.3g. The chain is crafted in 15ct antique yellow gold. It is stamped ‘15’ for 15ct gold on a disc close to the clasp. It has been XRF tested to confirm the gold carat.

The chain has very slightly twisted fetter links separated by lengths of curb chain. The fetter links measure 9mm x 3mm x 1mm and the sections of curb chain measure approximately 17mm long. The individual curb links measure 3mmx 3mm x 1.5mm.

The chain has a good sized bolt ring clip clasp which measures approximately 9mm across. It is also crafted in 15ct gold and appears to be original to the chain.

This is an antique chain and as such shows some minor signs of wear as one would expect with a chain of its age. Please look at the photographs as they form part of the description.
