An unusually long antique large curb link double Albert chain crafted in 9ct antique yellow gold, featuring double dog clip clasps and a T-bar. This beautiful chain measures 20” long and has highly sought after open curb links. It is a statement piece that would be an excellent addition to a jewellery wardrobe.

The size of the links and clasps make this piece particularly versatile as it can be clipped to be worn at a shorter length or wrapped around the wrist as a bracelet if desired.

• Style: Double Albert chain with sought after large curb links. This is antique Albert that has been extended the addition of part of another, very similar antique chain to make longer, wearable necklace. (The other part of this additional Albert chain is available for purchase separately as a T bar bracelet)

• Link Details: Links measure approx. 12mm × 8mm × 2mm; the links from the different chains vary in size slightly. The two parts of the chain are connected using a round link from one of the chains. Please see the photographs 

• T-Bar: Measures 37mm across, stamped ‘9 375’ with the maker’s mark of CDB for Charles Daniel Broughton, silversmiths at the beginning of the 20th century from St Paul’s Square, Birmingham

• Dog Clips: Both measure approx. 22mm end to end,

This chain dates from the beginning of the 20th century and is a rare find in this colour and condition.

Condition
