A wonderful 15.75” antique curb Albert chain crafted in 9ct rose gold. The chain has double dog clips and a T bar. Next to the T bar is a 9ct gold shield medal. This wonderful chain would make an excellent addition to a jewellery collection. It can be worn Albert style with the T bar & medal at the front or with them moved to the back of the neck so a pendant or charms can be hung from the dog clips. The chain can also be doubled up and worn as a bracelet.

The chain measures approximately 15.75”/40m long and weighs 26.2g.

The chain is crafted in 9ct antique rose gold. The links are hollow. They are each stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold. Many of the stamps are worn due to the age of the chain. The curb links are graduated. The largest links are in the middle of each half of the chain, they measure approximately 10mm x 9mm x 3mm. The smallest links are at either end of each half of the chain and measure 5mm x 4mm x 2mm.

The T bar measures 39mm across and hangs from 2 gold rings. The T bar and dog clips are all stamped ‘9ct’ for 9ct gold. The dog clips measure approximately 21mm from one end to the other.

There is a small dangle of 3cm next to the T bar where the medal fob hangs. The medal has an empty cartouche to the front, perfect for engraving should you wish to personalise the piece. The medal is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1850. The medal measures 33mm from top to bottom.
