Antique 13" Lover's Knot Albert Chain, 9ct

A wonderful 13” Albert chain, crafted in 9ct antique yellow gold. This elegant piece dates to the early 20th century and features two of the most sought-after link styles: the lover’s knot and the trombone link. The chain is finished with a classic T-bar and a dog clip clasp, making it both wearable and timeless. It is perfect doubled up as a bracelet or worn as a necklace, possibly with an extender due to its short length.

    • Trombone links: 22mm x 6mm x 2mm

    • Lover’s Knot links: 11mm x 6mm x 2mm

    • The links are hollow

    • Every link is stamped with ‘9 375’ for 9ct gold, and one bears the sponsor’s mark ‘JG&S’, confirming its authenticity and craftsmanship

  • Dog Clip Clasp: Approx. 23mm long, stamped ‘9 375’ with the sponsor’s mark of ‘JG&S’. The dog clip closes to a large 9ct ring that is a slightly paler colour than the rest of the chain and is a later addition

  • T-Bar: Approx. 39mm wide, stamped ‘9 375’ and ‘JG&S’, with the anchor mark fo the Birmingham assay office

  • Condition: Very good. This is an antique item and, as expected, shows gentle signs of age-related wear
